Brachycome (Brachycome Iberidifolia Blue Splendor) - Also known as Swan River Daisy, this sweet little flower establishes easily from flower seed. Brachycome is perfect for containers and hanging baskets as it spills gracefully over the edges. Brachycome Blue Splendor is covered with masses of brilliant blue daisy blooms, and it has attractive ferny foliage that grows in a mounding habit. Grown in full to part sun, Brachycome daisy plants will reach 25cm inches and bloom from early summer until autumn. 

In early spring, sow Brachycome seeds on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Keep flower seed moist until germination. Transplant seedlings after the danger of frost have passed. Swan River Daisy seeds can also be started directly outside in a prepared seedbed after temperature warm. Pinch the growing tips to encourage a bushier growth habit. Deadheading the Brachycome Swan River Daisy plant helps ensure continuous blooms. A shearing after a full flush of blooms stimulates more blooming.
