Description
Fruit peppers are an emerging variety of peppers on the market today. Their biggest features are high sugar content, high water content, and can be eaten raw. The scientific name of this kind of pepper is "Balem", which comes from the Netherlands and is a new pepper variety bred through hybridization. This kind of chili looks spicy, smells spicy, but tastes sweet. This pepper variety has strong adaptability and can be planted many times in a row. It has strong roots and lush branches and leaves, and can be planted in summer, autumn and winter.
Growing Notes
1.Temperature and light:
Peppers have high requirements for light and temperature during their growth. Therefore, scientific and strict management of light and temperature is required during cultivation. If there is low temperature weather during the management period, it needs to be covered with quilts to keep it warm.
The seedlings will grow to a normal state after seven days. As the seedlings are raised after autumn and enter the high-temperature season, the focus of seedling management needs to change to cooling and disease prevention.
Seeds require dark and light-proof conditions when they germinate, relatively strong light during the seedling stage, and medium light intensity during the fruiting stage. If there is insufficient light, it will cause flower and fruit drop and yield reduction. If the light is too strong, it will cause short stems and leaves, and may also easily lead to viral diseases and sunburn. This shows the necessity of artificial light control.
2.Moisture:
Peppers are neither drought nor flood tolerant and therefore have very strict water requirements. Pepper itself does not require a lot of water, but its root system is underdeveloped and its ability to absorb water is weak, so it has poor drought tolerance. Air humidity will also have a great impact on the growth of seedlings. Under normal circumstances, the relative humidity of the air is 60% to 80%. If the air humidity in the seedling stage is too high, it will cause symptoms. Too dry air during the flowering stage will also cause flower and fruit drop.
